You learn a language by:
a. listening to the language.
b. trying to replicate the language.
c. practising and repeating.
The difference between acquiring and learning is that acquiring is subconscious. You don’t pay any attention to it, yet it still happens. Learning a language however, requires focus and time. When you acquire a language, you have no clue about the grammatical rules, but you still know how to use them. When you learn a language, you use the grammatical rules to use the language.
